Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 3-North Medical Telemetry Unit located on the third floor of SAMC. 36 hours per week, Night Shift.

Elizabeth City, NC.

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• BSN or MSN (preferred)
• Students completing an accredited nursing program

• Registered Nursing License (required)
• Students in process of obtaining RN license
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

• None required
• 1 year of acute care preferred
• Previous healthcare experience preferred

The 3 North unit has 24 beds and treats patients needing medical telemetry, observation, cardiac monitoring, and treatment for low‑risk chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and congestive heart failure. As an RN, you will assess/admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, communicate with families, and provide overall patient care. Teamwork and patient safety are priorities.
