Laurel Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ADON plays a key role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality resident care in our skilled nursing facility.

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Support and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and training
• Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes
• Assist with surveys, audits, and corrective action plans

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (required)
• Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care (required)
• Previous leadership or supervisory nursing experience (required)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
