Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician. This position is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, control circuits, and equipment that keep production running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with 480V systems, PLCs, and industrial motor controls.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control panels throughout the facility.

* Diagnose and troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, motors, and control circuits.

* Work with and remotely troubleshoot PLC systems and related automation components.

* Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.

* Maintain and repair conveyors, packaging, and processing equipment to minimize downtime.

* Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.

* Ensure all work complies with NEC codes, plant policies, and safety regulations (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, etc.).

* Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required;
Technical or trade certification in industrial electrical or automation preferred.

* 2+ years of industrial electrician experience in manufacturing, food processing, or similar environments.

* Strong working knowledge of 480V 3-phase power, motor control systems, and relay logic.

* Experience with PLCs and VFDs.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics.

* Familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools and plant automation systems.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset.

Preferred

Skills:

* Experience in food, beverage, or agricultural processing.

* Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and industrial networking.

* Basic mechanical aptitude or cross-functional maintenance experience.
