Full-Time, First Shift with early morning start times

M-F, paid on call as needed

• Installs Commercial Cooking Systems (Kitchen Suppression/Hood Systems) for Fox Valley Fire & Safety customers.
• Use basic tools such as screw drivers, hammers, wire cutters, splicing tools, and more.
• Perform maintenance and service on Fire Extinguishers.
• Use active listening skills to effectively understand the needs of our customers and internal teams, ask questions as appropriate and offer solutions.
• Solves complex problems using mathematics skills, analysis and professional communication.
• Manages time efficiently.

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Level 1 Illinois Fire Extinguisher License to be obtained upon hire
• Level 2 Kitchen Suppression License to be obtained upon hire
• Regular and dependable attendance.
• Relevant work experience required

• This role requires the individual to stand and walk around job sites for several hours as well as kneeling, bending, squatting, balancing, reaching, overhead work and placing body in adverse positions.
• Lift or move approximately 50 pounds per day, but up to 150-pounds upon occasion.
• Reliable sight, hearing, verbal communication, and touch.
• HSD or equivalent is required

This is an hourly role starting between $22-24 hourly for an entry level Technician. This role also offers the opportunity for on call pay, overtime hours when available, and commission. Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply and compensation can be discussed prior to interviewing for the role.
