Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. They make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained. Technicians work in stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers. In stores, they provide service to customers, including writing contracts and invoices, checking tools for proper operation, and demonstrating proper use as needed.
They are also responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. In non-store locations, technicians repair, test, and clean units before returning them to the store. Technicians must have thorough knowledge of all tools and manage the tool inventory effectively.
