Location:
Madison, WI. This position requires relocation;
Epic provides financial relocation assistance.
As an Operations Center Technician, you will help maintain business continuity across Epic's global campuses by monitoring real‑time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations. You will identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data, coordinate emergency responses during disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages, and work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment and restore normal operations promptly and effectively.
Responsibilities- Monitor real‑time alerts and system data to identify operational issues.
- Manage access and security systems.
- Oversee building operations and coordinate emergency responses during disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and emergency services to maintain safety and continuity.
- Experience in security operations, emergency response, or a related high‑volume field preferred.
- Strong situational awareness and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work in a high‑pressure, real‑time environment.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available).
- Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
- COVID‑19 vaccination required.
