ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Greet customers on the sales floor; determine brand, type, and quality of merchandise desired; assist customers in locating merchandise. Display merchandise, suggest selections to meet customer needs, and highlight selling points such as quality and utility.
• Operate the POS system as a cashier. Prepare sales slips or contracts, process payments or credit authorizations, and bag merchandise. Note out-of-stock items or specific customer needs.
• Display new merchandise; stock shelves neatly by product type, brand, and size. Rotate stock and check for outdated goods.
• Maintain inventory by counting, sorting, or weighing incoming products. Verify receipt of items, inspect for damage or infestation, and compile reports on inventory adjustments, spoilage, damage, location changes, or shipment refusals.
• Determine storage methods considering temperature, humidity, weight, turnover, and space requirements. Store items appropriately based on style, size, or material type.
• Assist in maintaining a clean store environment (sweeping, mopping, washing windows, cleaning restrooms).
• Follow safety and GMP standards.
