Compensation: $21–$24 per hour, based on experience

Elgin Country Club is seeking an Experienced Broiler Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a skilled cook who takes pride in high-quality food preparation, presentation, and consistency. As part of our team, you will help provide an exceptional dining experience for our Members and guests.

• Prepare and cook menu items on the broiler station to order, ensuring proper timing, temperature, and presentation
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating standards consistently
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the broiler station
• Monitor food quality and inventory, reporting shortages or issues to the kitchen manager
• Collaborate with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with prep work and other stations as needed

• Proven experience as a broiler cook or in a similar high-volume kitchen environment
• Knowledge of proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professionalism and a commitment to delivering high-quality food
• Culinary school or formal training is a plus but not required

• Flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Steady, consistent availability preferred to support busy club operations
