Job Title: RN Surgery - Traveler
Location: Elgin, IL
Shift & Schedule:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday-Friday
- On-call required (rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays)
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery to support a dynamic perioperative team in Elgin, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical/OR experience, excellent clinical skills, and flexibility to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care as assigned
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital policies and procedures
- Respond promptly and effectively during on-call assignments
- Active RN license (IL or compact)
- Recent Surgery/OR experience required
- BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to take rotating on-call shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
