We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with an LPN to join our diverse team in Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission. We have flexible full-time and part-time shifts available with an hourly rate of $28.25/hr – $34/hr based on qualifications and experience. Additional differentials apply.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.

• Administer medications, tube feedings and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments.
• Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implement physician orders to assure optimal health care.
• Complete daily charting for care provided.
• Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants and case manager regarding resident status.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), currently registered in Illinois.
• Current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and meet functional and environmental requirements.
