Manufacturing Technician

Brigitflex is a small, women-owned manufacturer specializing in printed circuit boards (PCBs) for low-volume, high-complexity applications. We provide tailored solutions ranging from cost-effective designs to intricate, high-performance circuits. Our customers span a variety of industries, with a strong focus on defense and aerospace sectors.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play an important role in the fabrication of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This position involves hands‑on operation of equipment and materials used in the manufacturing process. You will receive on the job training in several core processes, beginning with photolithography, which includes:

• Surface Preparation:
  Cleaning and preparing circuit board laminates for dry film lamination.
• Dry Film Lamination and Imaging:
  Operating lamination equipment and using high‑intensity light units to transfer circuit artwork onto the PCB surface.
• Chemical Processing:
  Learning and executing the development, etching and stripping processes to define and clean circuit traces.

You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors, with an emphasis on precision, cleanliness, and safety.

• Clean and prepare circuit board laminates for dry film lamination.
• Operate dry film lamination machines to apply photoresist layers.
• Use high‑intensity exposure units to image circuit patterns accurately.
• Carry out development processes.
• Carry out etching processes.
• Carry out stripping processes.
• Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

• Experience in PCB manufacturing.
• Chemical handling knowledge.
• Experience in process documentation (travelers).
• Flexibility and willingness to cross‑train.

• Comfort with working with hands and being on your feet for the length of shift.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Comfort with multitasking.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and stay on task.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Detail oriented.
• Dependable.

• $19–$24/hr
• Full or part time
• Full‑time positions receive company‑paid medical insurance.

This position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Under ITAR, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., "Green Card" holder), asylee, or refugee as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
