We are looking for a skilled maintenance manager that will use the most efficient and cost-effective processes to maintain the efficient operation of all plant manufacturing equipment. This person will help research and recommend new operational technologies and continuously improve the safety of the work environment. In addition, under the direction of the Plant Manager will use and improve our MRO program.
Job Responsibilities- Perform various maintenance tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, prints, specifications and other pertinent information
- Review and analyze a variety of preventive maintenance data, documents and reports
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulations by supporting audits, implementing corrective actions, and promoting safe work practices across operations.
- Consult with all departments to ensure that specified equipment criteria are suitable for the proposed application and recommend revisions as appropriate
- Plan, conduct or coordinate relatively straight forward troubleshooting analyses and tests and prepare related work orders to be assigned to specific maintenance personnel
- Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences
- Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
- Tracking daily expenses and overseeing the budget for the maintenance department.
- Creating and implementing process procedures
- MRO implementation
- 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance (plastics machinery preferred)
- Automation and controls troubleshooting including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, and industrial control systems.
- Degree in manufacturing of any nature is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
- In depth knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems maintenance.
- Industrial Electrical 3 phase 480
- MRO systems (willing to learn)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer and report writing skills.
- Self-initiative and excellent time-management skills.
