Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant facility environment by executing sanitation tasks in accordance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (sanitation procedures), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies. This role directly supports regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and prevention of contamination within production and warehouse environments.
Duties and responsibilities- Remove trash, debris, and waste materials from warehouse and production areas.
- Operate sanitation equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums.
- Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, and facility grounds.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, and break rooms, and cafeteria.
- Follow SSOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols at all times.
- Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with SSOPs, GMPs, and SDS requirements, ensuring all chemicals remain properly labeled and secured.
- Use all required PPE in accordance with company safety rules, SSOPs, and area-specific hazards.
- Complete all required sanitation documentation accurately and on time.
- Immediately report equipment malfunctions, facility damage, pest concerns, or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
- Support office set up and maintenance including assembling furniture and other items purchased for the workplace
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and coordinating timely replenishment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to sanitation and food safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
(TO BE DETERMINED) CST Pay: $17 - $17.50 / Hour POTENTIAL TO EARN MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY BONUSES! Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of sanitation or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and move throughout shift.
- Ability to work overtime or adjusted hours based on business or sanitation demands.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and chemical handling.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read/understand written instructions in English.
- Team-oriented with a positive, proactive approach to sanitation tasks.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for the majority of the shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
- Occasional use of ladders or man-lifts for elevated cleaning tasks.
