- Assist with Personal Care:
Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting - Provide Companionship and Meaningful Engagement
- Prepare Meals and Assist with Feeding
- Perform Light Housekeeping and Laundry
- Provide Medication Reminders (No Medication Administration)
- Escort Clients to Appointments and Errands
- Assist with Mobility and Ensure Home Safety
- Follow Individualized Care Plans and Document Care Provided
- Observe, Report, and Communicate Changes in Client Condition
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required
- Professional caregiving or family caregiving experience accepted
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation is required
- Valid driver’s license required if transporting clients
- Willing and able to travel to Huntley, Algonquin, Cary, Elgin, South Elgin, and surrounding areas (Applicants unwilling to travel to these locations will not be considered)
- Must pass background screening
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality care
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- CNA or HHA Certification
- Experience with mobility assistance
- Experience providing in-home services to seniors or enrollment/completion of a CNA or nursing program
- Ability to work independently
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Reliable transportation between client homes
