• Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy.

• Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
• Basic internet navigation skills

• Valid occupational therapist assistant state license

• Provide occupational therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Offer ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervision of Rehab Techs (when required), and case management responsibilities.
• Maintain professional conduct that reflects Reliant’s commitment to quality and service.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.
• Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize functional abilities and skills of patients.
• Build a strong occupational therapy assistant program.
• Enhance clinical expertise, professional and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other staff; engage in self‑study and continuing education.
• Maintain a valid state license and stay aware of professional and healthcare environment issues.
• Understand relevant payment models and billing guidelines, deliver clinically appropriate care, and establish realistic goals and outcomes.
• Be compliant with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols within a facility.
• Read, write, speak, and comprehend in English to understand instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
