We are seeking a dedicated Job Coach to join our diverse team in Elgin and be a part of our life‑changing mission.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM. Base rate: $20/hr; with at least a couple years of behavioral experience we could offer an experienced rate of up to $21.00/hr we are hiring immediately and offer paid training. CNAs and DSPs are encouraged to apply; we provide free DSP training.

• Work directly with clients in the implementation of training programs and service plans.
• Assist clients with personal care needs including grooming (brushing hair, brushing teeth, shaving), toileting, feeding meals, showering and dressing.
• Monitor progress in goals including continuous data evaluations each month.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients.
• Observe and properly implement behavior management plans including proactive and reactive strategies.
• Assist in the implementation of vocational and recreational group activities and community outings.
• Assist clients with volunteer as well as paid work onsite and in the community.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver and behavioral experience helpful, but not required (we provide paid on‑site training for your Direct Support Professional certification).
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.
