Field Service Technician
ELGIN, IL
Description
Field Service Technicians travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair and install industrial packaging machinery. They will work with customers for pre-consultation, site readiness preparation, startup monitoring, assist and train customer on CV-Tek equipment. Will perform routine maintenance on equipment to maintain high quality operation. Complete service reports, record repairs, warranty and maintenance performed. The position requires up to (80%). Travel may be international to Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
Bilingual Spanish highly desired.

* Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent is preferred, plus 4 or more years' experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience in the Packaging Equipment field desired but not necessary.
* "Hands on" experience with Electro-Mechanical experience, pneumatics, AC/DC motor control, PLC's, VFD's.
* Bilingual English and Spanish.
* Must be self-motivated with ability to work & think well independently.
