• Facilitating one‑hour life‑skills sessions with K‑2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy concepts introduced by Reading Specialists
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and reach their weekly educational targets
• Guiding emotional self‑regulation, persistence, and critical thinking with steady structure and genuine care
• Monitoring student development and requirements, identifying concerns proactively, and modifying approaches in partnership with your team
• Establishing a classroom environment that balances structure, energy, and individual connection

• Must be available for full‑time, in‑person work at our campus in Chicago, IL;

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts.
• Captivating storyteller and dynamic presenter capable of engaging and maintaining the focus of young learner groups.
• Capacity to maintain elevated expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives.
• Growth‑oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
