Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract role seeks a licensed School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services in an onsite school setting in Elgin, IL. Serving elementary and middle school students, the position offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills in a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary and middle school students
- Provide consultations to educators, parents, and staff to support student well-being and academic success
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and licensing standards
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with elementary and middle school populations preferred
- Strong understanding of cognitive and behavioral assessments, intervention strategies, and educational psychology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school professionals
Location:
- Onsite position based in Elgin, Illinois
