As a Substitute Teacher, you will step into the classroom to deliver engaging lessons and ensure continuity in the learning process for our students. This role allows you to share your expertise temporarily while inspiring students to love and appreciate the art of cosmetology.

• Provide quality instruction in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow the established curriculum while adapting lessons as needed to meet students' diverse learning styles
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation
• Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their skills and knowledge
• Ensure a safe and organized learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school community as required

• Must have an active Educator License in the state of Illinois
• Strong background in cosmetology with practical experience preferred

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $18.00 and $22.00/hr actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility
