Alpha is redesigning the student experience from the ground up. Our students don't listen to lectures—they advance through adaptive applications, absorb material at double the standard pace, and develop practical life competencies as they go. Your role is to ensure that our "3 Promises" are delivered to every learner in your group and to develop our Guides so they can replicate that success.

Why Alpha?
  • Competitive compensation for high‑cost markets – elevated pay compared to standard guide positions to reflect metro living expenses
  • Robust benefits & paid time off – full health coverage and ample PTO
  • Relocation support – provided for exceptional candidates
  • Development‑focused environment – access to coaching, training, and defined routes to expanded responsibility
What You Will Be Doing
  • Training and developing Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at world‑class levels
  • Building Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, designing engaging learning experiences, and addressing common obstacles
  • Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides to elevate student participation and outcomes
  • Directly coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating expert motivation and mentorship techniques
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Developing lesson plans – your Guides support students through adaptive apps; your priority is training them to be outstanding motivators
  • Compromising on standards – when our success threshold is 100%, your role is to uphold that expectation
  • Running dull training sessions – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, high‑energy, experiential learning
Lead Instructional Coach Key Responsibilities
