CNC Apprenticeship Program (August 2026)
Are you mechanically inclined and ready to kickstart a rewarding career in manufacturing? HARTING aims to foster the skills of students in the Elgin community who have an interest or passion in manufacturing. As an apprentice, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and hands‑on experience to set yourself up for long‑term success.
We are seeking individuals who would like to pursue becoming a CNC Technician. The HARTING team boasts best‑in‑class CNC technology and processes, and we are excited to teach you.
What is an Apprenticeship?- Apprenticeships combine paid on‑the‑job training with classroom instruction to prepare you for a highly skilled career. This will train you to become a certified Robotics Technician or Injection Molding Technician.
- In partnership with the ICATT Apprenticeship program, HARTING aims to foster the skills of students in the Elgin community who have an interest or passion in manufacturing.
- In partnership with Elgin Community College, you will attend courses to learn theoretical concepts. Then, you will apply those skills on‑the‑job with HARTING.
- Gain skills for an in‑demand profession.
- Earn a competitive wage while on‑the‑job and in school.

In joining HARTING's Apprenticeship Program, you become an employee of HARTING. This program has a 3‑year commitment, which includes 2 days in school and 3 days with the company. After successful completion, you are eligible for a 2‑year employment guarantee.
