Opportunity Coordinator, Customer Excellence

Duke's is now looking for an Opportunity Coordinator to join the team at our corporate office in Elgin, IL!

Our Opportunity Coordinator plays a vital role at the front lines of opportunity management ensuring every new customer lead, inquiry, and partnership opportunity is handled with precision, urgency, and professionalism. This position is ideal for highly organized, detail‑oriented professionals who enjoy supporting sales and business development, coordinating across teams, strengthening communication, and driving momentum by guiding each opportunity initial inquiry through successful handoff or closure.

This is an onsite position, not remote or hybrid.

What you will do:

  • Monitor incoming leads and inquiries to assess their alignment with organizational goals
  • Pipeline Coordination:
    Collaborate with Sales and Operations to move opportunities through the pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and external partners regarding specific opportunities, providing updates and gathering needed information.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify and implement improvements to opportunity tracking and management processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    Ensure all opportunity-related documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with opportunity requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned to support Customer Excellence

Pay Range: $31 - 33/hr, depending on experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development coordination, project coordination, or customer‑facing administrative roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to seek clarity, ask questions, and resolve issues or problems efficiently
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload based on business needs
