We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure & Manufacturing Floor Support Technician to support radio infrastructure customization and provide technical manufacturing support within a production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electronic, electrical, RF, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end Infrastructure Radio Customization process.
- Interface with MSI Systems Engineers to validate customer-specific infrastructure configuration parameters.
- Create customer-specific infrastructure configuration files using internal MSI software applications.
- Troubleshoot customization processes and escalating to Engineering when additional support is required.
- Diagnose and repair electronic, electrical, and RF test systems.
- Identify hardware and software issues impacting test or build processes.
- Provide first-level technical manufacturing support across multiple assembly lines.
- Create, build, and maintain test systems and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot fixture issues including pneumatic systems, mechanical components, and PC-triggered software interactions.
- Support ongoing manufacturing operations, including extended hours or weekend work as required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including pneumatics and calibration practices.
- Experience with PC software and hardware maintenance.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic hardware maintenance experience.
- Familiarity with tool and equipment calibration standards.
- Ability to interpret and construct projects from technical documentation.
- Proficient use of hand, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
- Ability to work on ladders and lifts, including overhead tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
