HGV Technician

Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, a leading Commercial Vehicle Dealership, based in the Swansea area.

The salary for this HGV Technician role will be negotiable pending experience, plus a performance-related bonus scheme, overtime and access to a call-out rota.

Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

• Starting salary negotiable pending experience (upwards of £18 per hour).
• Performance-related bonus scheme with an enhanced rate for any work completed above your allocated hours worked.
• Overtime subject to availability and paid at time and a half.
• 22days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.

• Full in-house and manufacturer-approved training.
• After the qualifying period, access to roadside call-out work with lucrative financial benefits (usually 1 in 8/9 weeks)
• Rotating early/late shift rota with Week One: 6:00am-2:30pm and Week Two: 2:00pm-10:30pm. 1-in-2 Saturdays, 6:00am-12:00pm, paid as overtime.

• Servicing, repair and maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

• Previous working experience within the role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
