Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist; SLP SC

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Elgin, SC, serving two elementary schools with a focus on PreK-5th grades, primarily working with preschool students. This contract position runs from March 2, 2026, through May 26, 2026, during the current school year (CSY).

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged children, mainly preschool through 5th grade.
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
• Document therapy sessions, assessments, and maintain compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed.

• Valid state license and certification as an SLP, preferably with CCC credentials.
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, including work with preschool and elementary-aged children.
• Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and proven skills in assessment and intervention.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or eligible.
• Ability to work effectively within a school environment and provide compassionate care to students.
