Your

new role

To support the Finance department by ensuring that the day-to-day finance processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

DUTIES:

  • Process items to the Cashbook
  • Process staff expense claims
  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes on the Purchase Ledger
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Raise customer invoices on the Sales Ledger
  • Complete the daily bank reconciliation
  • Maintain accounting documents, and provide general office support as required

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

  • At least 1-year’s experience working as part of an accounting/ finance team (including internships or entry-level positions).
  • Strong numerical skill and attention to detail
  • A reliable team player who can also use own initiative
  • A ‘can do’ and ‘hands on’ attitude
  • Ability to work under supervision while meeting deadlines
  • An intermediate excel user, previous experience of accounting software would be advantageous but is not a necessity (COINS training will be given, if required)
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability and confidence to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers and customers
