OverviewWe recruit the best talent and invest in their ongoing development through training and mentoring. dnata catering U.S. is looking for a CDL Driver to cover a line‑of‑supply (LOA) assignment. The candidate must be available for up to 6 months to join our El Segundo, CA team. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the position requires availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment. This position is not eligible for company visa sponsorship and dnata Catering will not provide or assume sponsorship for employment visas now or in the future.
Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Maintain good relations with customers.
- Work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
- Comply with HACCP/GMP, dnata catering sanitation, and proper food handling policies and procedures.
- Secure and maintain any special licenses required by federal, state, or company regulations.
- Effectively communicate between Dispatch, Flight Administrators, CDL‑Drivers, and management.
- Prepare correct paperwork according to company guidelines.
- Ensure correct invoicing of all delivered articles per flight.
- Arrive at the airport punctually while keeping safety a priority and avoid delays.
- Ensure hygiene, quality, and safety standards are fulfilled.
- Adhere to vehicle fueling and associated procedures according to company policy.
- Conduct pre‑trip inspection requirements.
- Identify problematic areas and inform the shift supervisor and management of any issues.
- Other tasks may be added or removed by management per business requirements.
- Comply with all related training for this role.
- Able to understand, read, communicate, and write in English.
- Must be reliable, presentable, and professional.
- Team player who can work closely with customers in a fast‑paced environment.
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft programs:
Outlook, Excel, Word. - Must have a CDL license with air brake endorsement.
- All applicants are subject to a criminal history background check and drug testing per US Customs & Border Protection regulations.
- Schedule flexibility and availability to work various shifts including night, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills.
- Multi‑task under time limits, constant attention to precise detail, with concentration often extending beyond 30 minutes.
- Use interpersonal skills to recognize and resolve conflicts and communicate in writing and verbally with customers.
- Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch regularly.
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to extreme cold/heat, heights, and loud noise (earplugs required on the ramp).
