Our technology integrates computer vision and advanced mechanisms to assist fishermen in fish processing, enhancing efficiency and product quality.
What you get to do:
- You will be working with a fast moving team of software and mechanical engineers during the most exciting phase of our growth – expanding to support new fish species, more robots in the field, and developing software based tools for fishermen efficiency!
- Design, build, and test critical components and services for our fish processing system
- Own the execution and testing of software features from development to deployment
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to improve robot behavior, sensor integration, and data pipelines
- Investigate failure modes while robots are deployed onboard fishermen boats
What you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- 5+ years of previous experience on a Software or Robotics role
- Experience owning a significant project in C++ or Python
- Passion for developing clean and organized software and testing methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional setting
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to mentor more junior engineers on the team
- Desire to learn new technologies and to apply them to solve real-world challenges
