Position OverviewMillennium Space Systems Summer 2026 Internship Program – Site Security. The intern will work closely with the Physical Security team to implement processes, develop instructions, and interpret government policy. Responsibilities include facility controls, security briefings, and integration processes within the department databases. The intern will collaborate across multiple disciplines (physical, program, personnel, Corporate Security, Contracts, Trade Compliance, Learning & Development, and Uniformed Security).
Responsibilities- Security operations briefings to small rooms
- Security badging operations for employees, contractors & visitors
- Develop processes and procedures derived from government policies
- Perform data entry, validation, and record checks in government and local systems
- Ensure corporate and government policy compliance
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Behavioral & Social Science, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Basic understanding of safety, security, and risk‑management principles in a public or corporate setting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills
- Clear and confident communication in one‑on‑one discussions, small group meetings, and small audience briefings
- Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or above)
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills demonstrated through leadership positions on teams or in student or civic organizations
- Strong technical experience demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships
- Exceptional communication skills and interest in engineering, aerospace, and a career with Boeing
- Junior or Senior class standing
- Position is 100% onsite; the selected candidate will work onsite at one of the listed location options.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 – U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
- Some positions may require obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Shift: 1st shift.
- Safety‑sensitive positions are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
- Drug‑free workplace: post‑offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met.
- Not eligible for relocation assistance.
- Employer will not sponsor employment visa status.
- Position is not contingent on program award.
- Summary pay range: $21.15 /hr – $38.46 /hr (based upon experience and qualifications).
