.
- As a Cold Kitchen Assembly team member for dnata catering, meticulously prepare and assemble a variety of cold food items for airline passengers.
- Follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in the final products.
- Apply food handling and hygiene practices to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout preparation.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients; adhere to temperature control protocols.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to understand menu requirements and ensure timely production and delivery of cold items.
- Manage inventory levels, track product performance, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Contribute to delivering exceptional food experiences for airline passengers, ensuring meticulously prepared cold items during flights.

You WillESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow established unit entry rules for building/work areas; properly attired and in compliance with HACCP/GMP hygiene guidelines; observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.
- Read instructional charts/diagrams to determine amounts and kinds of foods and supplies to be packaged or assembled into trays or containers.
- Comply with all HACCP/GMP and dnata Catering sanitation and food handling policies and procedures.
- Portion and garnish hot cooked foods into individual servings; inspect items for contamination.
- Return unused food to storage or dispose of it following dating and rotation schedules.
- Place cold food items from refrigerator/pantry at the appropriate station to facilitate tray assembly.
- Store completed trays in airline storage carts or containers for transport to airplanes.
- Employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold (35-40°F).
- Other duties as assigned.
This salary range is influenced by experience. When calculating base pay, factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience are considered as part of the compensation package.
Education & QualificationsEDUCATION: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of cold food assembly experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Schedule flexibility: early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail; ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong prioritization and ability to multitask.
- Valid food handler’s certificate or equivalent.
Intellectual/Social demands: Multi-tasking under time limits; constant attention to detail and following instructions; punctuality; productivity expectations.
Physical demands: Standing, walking, reaching, and occasional kneeling or crouching; able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Work environment: Indoor setting; noise level from minimal to loud; exposure to extreme cold (35-40°F).
