As the senior Quality authority, this role partners closely with Operations, Product Development, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external manufacturing partners to ensure risk‑appropriate, scalable quality systems that support growth, speed‑to‑market, and brand trust.

This position combines strategic system design with hands‑on execution and serves as the primary escalation point for quality risk, compliance decisions, and external audits.

What You’ll Do
  • Quality Strategy & Governance

    • Own quality governance across the NPI lifecycle
    • Govern BOM, Formula, and Technical Specification change control
    • Ensure regulatory and customer readiness for all launches
    • Define lot review and positive release frameworks
  • Incoming Quality Inspection & Lot Release Authority
    • Perform and document incoming quality inspections for all production lots, including physical review of finished goods, components, packaging, labeling, and overall SKU conformance
    • Verify production output against approved standards, specifications, range boards, and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and escalate defects, trends, or deviations requiring corrective action, containment, or release exceptions
    • Ensure inspection outcomes are formally documented, traceable, and audit‑ready within Quality and ERP systems
  • Supplier & CM Quality Leadership
    • Act as senior Quality counterpart to all Contract Manufacturers and suppliers
    • Own Vendor Quality Management Program and scorecards
    • Lead audits and oversee CAPA strategy and closure
  • Quality Systems & Compliance
    • Architect and maintain scalable Quality Management Systems
    • Own complaint management, RCA, and CAPA programs
    • Establish Quality KPIs and executive dashboards
  • Cross‑Functional & Executive Partnership
    • Serve as the primary Quality advisor to executive leadership
    • Represent Quality in executive forums and critical incident response
What We Are Looking For
  • 8‑12+ years of progressive Quality experience in beauty or consumer goods
  • Experience owning a Quality function or system
  • Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing and regulatory readiness
  • Ability to operate strategically and tactually in fast‑growth environments
