Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dog Groomer/Front Person to join The Pet Wash team. As a Dog Groomer, you will bathe and clip dogs according to breed-specific standards, comfort cuts, and owner preferences. Responsibilities include trimming nails, cleaning ears, detangling hair, and ensuring pets look and feel their best.

As a Front Person, you will greet clients, discuss services, check dogs in, schedule appointments, answer phones, and maintain supplies for both Self-Serve and Full-Serve customers.

Responsibilities:

• Brush, detangle, or remove matted fur
• Bathe dogs and dry coats
• Execute clipping techniques and style requests
• Examine for parasites or skin conditions
• Trim nails
• Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
• Follow strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
• Keep towels stocked

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dog groomer and front desk role
• Comfortable working with anxious animals
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs
• Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
• Effective communication with coworkers and pet owners
• Strong attention to detail
