• 80% programming focus—own toolpaths for one‑off, complex prototype components
• Hands‑on impact—set up and operate 3–5 axis mills and CNC lathes in a state‑of‑the‑art facility
• Cross‑functional collaboration—work with engineering/design to ensure manufacturability and design intent
• Quality at the core—in‑process inspection, tight tolerances, and continuous improvement
• Ownership mindset—drive projects from cradle to grave

• Program 3‑axis/5‑axis mills and lathes using Master
  
  CAM or HSMWorks for one‑off and short‑run prototypes
• Choose tools, fixtures, and materials; perform machine setups and operation
• Measure with micrometers, calipers, and indicators; verify GD&T
• Troubleshoot toolpaths and optimize feeds/speeds and workholdingli>
• Maintain setup sheets, tooling lists, and traveler documentation
• Recommend new tooling, strategies, and workflow improvements

• 1st shift with flexible hours (most teammates start around 6 AM)
• Optional overtime available; work‑life balance is respected

• 3+ years CNC programming/machining experience (prototype/R&D ideal)
• Command of Master
  
  CAM, HSMWorks, or equivalent
• Strong 3‑axis and 5‑axis milling knowledge and/or lathe programming
• Proven setup, tooling selection, and machine operation skills
• Ability to read drawings, apply GD&T, and follow technical specs
• Comfort with precision metrology tools
• Independent, detail‑oriented, and quality‑obsessed

“In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $45/hr and $55+/hr. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.”
