What You Will Do:

Global Supply Chain Director manages global supply / demand balancing for the LUXE Division products. The target for this role is to sustain and improve the brands demand driven supply chain, to respond in an agile (fast, flexible) and adapted (cost-effective) manner.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the GBSC cell for two LUXE brands, Urban Decay + Youth to the People
  • Drive the process of demand review to budget and/or trend, and maintain control of the elements supporting these financial commitments
  • Manage relationships with worldwide affiliates
  • Hold monthly forecast meetings by Zone to:
    Review and challenge the forecast to the sales plan;
    Challenge alignment of demand plan globally;
    Understand and challenge key forecast variations
  • Set and maintain global inventory parameters for global managed stock positions Leverage and drive this same exercise to challenge safety stock at zone level
  • Review and recommend stock parameters on a WW level
  • Ensure operations planning / allocation is considered in the demand plan
  • Review the ordering practices between the order and allocated quantities
  • Coordinate global flow of product and information, manage exceptions and streamline communication to local market supply teams
  • Manage the global catalogue, add-delete process and optimize the end-of-life of discontinued products
  • Drive good financial control to the P&L on both E&O and Inventory
  • Analyze and coordinate E&O for destructions
  • Manage global E&O dispositioning through allocating to local markets as required
  • Single point of contact for Global DMI for global demand & supply arbitration, new product launch and coordination
  • Coordinate confirmed supply plan with manufacturing and facilitate trade‑off decisions based on confirmed supply plan
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to build supply scenarios and coordinate arbitration decisions across markets
  • Coordinate launch planning process across markets, monitor product availability and prevent E&O for new launch items by ensuring correct sizing of production batches
  • Drive agility initiatives in partnership with manufacturing, development and sourcing teams
  • Manage a planning team including setting the right expectations, driving accountability and creating an engaged, high performing team
What We Are Looking For :

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience within Manufacturing or Supply Chain
  • Possess well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to be able to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to synthesize information and create a clear synopsis of key issues
  • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independently
