This role offers a hybrid work schedule
, providing flexibility while maintaining meaningful in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong employment law experience and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused practice.
- Represent employers in employment law matters, including:
- Wrongful termination
- Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
- Wage & hour disputes
- Leave of absence and accommodation issues
- Handle cases from inception through resolution, including:
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Taking and defending depositions
- Court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Provide day-to-day employment counseling to employer clients
- Work collaboratively with partners and litigation teams
- Maintain clear and professional client communication
- Active and good-standing member of the California State Bar
- Experience practicing employment law (defense experience preferred)
- Strong litigation and legal writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Professional demeanor with strong client-service skills
The annual salary for this position is between [$200,000 – $250,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
