Senior JIRA Administrator Security Clearance

Position: Senior JIRA Administrator with Security Clearance
Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance to be eligible for consideration. Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior JIRA/Confluence Administrator to support a dynamic Department of Defense (DoD) program acquisition environment for our partner. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools in classified settings and will contribute to high-assurance, resilient data pipelines that integrate large data sets across space, air, and ground systems.

This role requires strong technical proficiency, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This is an onsite role based out of El Segundo, CA. Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain JIRA and Confluence, including user management, permissions, workflows, and system configurations

* Customize JIRA workflows, custom fields, screens, dashboards, and reports to support program and engineering processes

* Configure Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and plugins to enhance collaboration and knowledge management

* Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting, training, and documentation for JIRA and Confluence users

* Work closely with program leadership, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions

* Support the development of high-assurance, resilient data pipelines that synchronize multi-domain data across space, air, and ground systems

* Stay current with industry best practices and new Atlassian features to continuously optimize the environment

* Ensure all configurations and implementations comply with security and classification guidelines

Required Qualifications
* TS/SCI clearance (with ability to obtain SAP)

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

* Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
* 4+ years of experience working in a DoD program acquisition office

* 2+ years of experience administering JIRA and Confluence in a classified environment

* Proven experience as a JIRA/Confluence Administrator, including hands-on configuration and customization

* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and implementing Agile workflows in JIRA

* Experience using Confluence for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
* JIRA and/or Confluence Administrator certifications

* Experience supporting multi-domain operations or large-scale data integration efforts

* Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, documentation requirements, and workflow structures
