Senior Program Manager - Space Systems Security Clearance

Position: Senior Program Manager - Space Systems with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support a company focused on delivering next-generation Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and Space Surveillance & Reconnaissance (S&R) capabilities for the U.S. Space Force. This position is on-site in El Segundo, CA. The Senior Program Manager will lead complex systems acquisition, guide program execution, and drive integration across space, ground, and communication segments.

Responsibilities for the Senior Program Manager include:
* Leading acquisition strategy, program planning, scheduling, resource allocation, contracting, and budgeting in alignment with mission priorities

* Overseeing full lifecycle program execution, including milestones, risk mitigation, testing, integration, and contractor management

* Driving cross-functional coordination across government and contractor teams spanning space, ground, and communications architectures

* Organizing and leading technical interchange meetings (TIMs) and staff meetings to track progress and manage risks

* Evaluating contractor designs, milestone reviews, and technical performance to ensure mission requirement alignment

Required Qualifications for the Senior Program Manager include:
* 15+ years of experience with Department of Defense program management

* Experience with SDA systems, including sensor networks, data processing pipelines, analytics platforms, space object tracking, data fusion, orbital prediction, space traffic management, catalog maintenance, and conjunction assessment

* Experience with DoDI 5000.02, the JCIDS process, and the PPBE process

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* TS or TS/SCI clearance
Compensation for the Senior Program Manager includes:
* Salary Range: $160,000-$200,000 depending on experience
