We are looking for a Product & Data Engineer to serve as the technical owner of our internal digital ecosystem. We’re looking for someone who is excited to step into existing, high-potential products to continue their growth trajectory. We require experience in data engineering & visualization, and scaling automation tools within a growing organization. We value energetic and tenacious people with a “can-do” attitude and strong work ethic.
You will partner directly with our team to prioritize the roadmap, build out new automation features, and oversee our client-facing dashboard environment. This role reports to our Director of Operations and is responsible for managing additional resources as needed.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in Python for backend logic, API development, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with React and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Tableau for data storytelling.
- Experience in leading initiatives end-to-end, managing stakeholders, and running multiple projects or work-streams simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate product goals into clear, actionable steps that create meaningful customer experiences.
- Experience in product management, automation and workflow technologies, and data visualization.
- Serve as the technical owner of our custom internal workflow tool. You will be responsible for stabilizing the current codebase and architecting its future growth.
- Lead the development of new feature modules, such as automated financial document generation and enhanced project management capabilities.
- Manage and optimize our backend environment, including relational databases (Postgre
SQL) and data warehouses (Big Query), to ensure high system availability and reliability. - Partner with the Operations team to identify manual bottlenecks and design elegant, automated solutions that streamline our project lifecycle from sourcing to delivery.
- Responsible for maintaining & growing a cutting-edge Tableau dashboard.
- Ownership of all phases of build and development from sourcing of data to building database to visualization.
- Collaborate with sales & marketing leads to build a strategic product roadmap for development and future functionality.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools in the digital product space, proposing new solutions that could enhance company capabilities.
- Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000
