- Integrate multiple data sources (web analytics, CRM, user behavior, content metadata, and Legal directory data) into unified data stores for downstream use.
- Support personalization and recommendation systems, ensuring real‑time and batch data pipelines deliver reliable, high‑quality signals.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to product ionize AI models and ensure their data dependencies are well‑structured and performant.
- Implement and maintain data quality, validation, and monitoring processes across ingestion and transformation layers.
- Work with cloud‑based data technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to scale infrastructure efficiently.
- Partner with the AI Engineering and Legal Product teams to optimize data architecture and performance for Legal‑specific personalization use cases.
- Contribute to the centralized data catalog and governance framework, ensuring metadata and lineage documentation are up to date.
- Stay current on AI data engineering best practices and help implement them across the team.

- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or related analytics infrastructure roles.
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks (Airflow, dbt, Dagster, etc.).
- Experience with data pipeline development.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, transformation, and schema design for analytics and AI systems.
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows, including feature extraction, data labeling, and model‑serving data feeds.
- Experience with API integrations and handling structured and semi‑structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.).
- Exposure to personalization or recommendation systems (e.g., user segmentation, content ranking, or behavioral targeting).
- Knowledge of Legal data types (law firm directories, practice area taxonomies, or case law content).
- Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures (Databricks, Snowflake, or similar).
- Experience working with feature stores or vector databases for AI/ML use cases.
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and observability tools (e.g., Data Hub, Monte Carlo, Great Expectations).
- Contribute to AI innovation driving smarter Legal experiences across a large content and services ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional AI, data science, and product teams solving high‑impact personalization challenges.
- Work in a dynamic, supportive environment that encourages technical growth and experimentation.
