The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Contract Associate Versatile Technologist to support the team in El Segundo, CA to support Evolved Strategic SATCOM, a new franchise satellite program as we build out a full new satellite constellation over the next 10 years.

Join our Information Technology Product Support Government contract direct team, where we deliver comprehensive software solutions that enable rapid access and visual transformation of complex engineering and manufacturing product data for the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Contract Direct Product Support organization.

• Works directly with programs to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules
• Designs, installs, configures, troubleshoots and provides support of application server, software, and components
• Ensures Information Technology infrastructure conforms with standard architectural objectives
• Develops solutions, to challenging problems, that are imaginative, thorough, predictable, and consistent with organization standards.
• Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations
• Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches
• Supports SQL Server and SharePoint Administration, including backups, disaster recovery, security, performance, incident management, and configuration management
• Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives and system's production readiness and supportability
• Supports Enterprise Active Directory (AD) environment using standard Windows and Kerberos authentication
• Performs SharePoint multi-server farm installation, administration and site collection support for end users
• Supports and integrates a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in-house software application(s) for our engineering and manufacturing teams
• Gathers and evaluates end user requirements
• Performs analysis, tuning and database design support for team developers
• This is 100% onsite position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite 5 days a week in El Segundo, CA.

• 1+ years of experience with SQL Server Install and Administration
• 1+ years of experience with SharePoint Install and Administration
• 1+ years of experience with Internet Information Services (IIS) Web server hosting .NET applications

• Current Comp TIA certificate or ability to obtain post-start
• 3+ years of experience with Cold Fusion including Cold Fusion installation and administration
• 3+ years of experience with SharePoint Administration
• 3+ years of experience with configuration management
