Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport South is hiring an energetic and experienced Front Office Manager. This role is responsible for profitability, cost control, and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting, and department budget to maximize revenue. The position also involves preparing financial reports, including rate and availability calendars.

Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates staff, providing leadership and guidance to Front Office staff to ensure consistent high-quality service.

What will I be doing?

As Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for profitability, cost control, and quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. You will oversee room reservations, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling, forecasting, and department budget to maximize revenue. You will prepare financial reports, including rate and availability calendars. You will interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff, providing leadership and guidance to Front Office staff to ensure consistent quality service.

The following tasks are performed to the highest standards.

  • Encourage a team spirit amongst staff with strong leadership and guidance.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to staff. Assign and instruct guest service, front office, reservations, and front desk agents in the details of work. Observe performance and encourage improvement.
  • Use creative management skills to solve problems. Ensure compliance with Hilton standards to maintain high-quality guest relations.
  • Manage desk during times of stress or emergencies, resolve guest concerns, and implement resolutions using discretion and judgment.
  • Greet customers promptly with a friendly, sincere welcome; use a positive and clear voice; listen to and understand requests from guests and team members.

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
