Position: Chief Acquisition Specialist with Security Clearance
Description SAIC is seeking you our latest Chief Acquisition Analyst (PM Support) t o support cyber programs within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, California . Fun stuff you will do on the job:
* Provide advice to Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting and execution.
* Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
* Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping.
* Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.
* Provide program element coordination, staffing and monitoring; advise and assist government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures as well as drafting and supporting delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports. Qualifications This is you:
* Bachelors and 18 years or more of related experience in government weapon systems acquisitions and program management and, or Contracts management within the Department of Defense or 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
* Must have an active Top Secret clearance with in-scope SSBI/T5 background investigation. Ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Program accesses. Must be willing to consent to a polygraph. You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
* Master Degree in Business Management, technical management, and/or engineering.
* Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
* Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area. Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
