Future Salary Increases- June 2026 – 4.37% increase to base pay (3.5% Across-the-Board + 0.87% Market Adjustment Increase)
- June 2027 – 3.87% increase to base pay (3.0% Across-the-Board + 0.87% Market Adjustment Increase)
The Sheriff's Office is currently recruiting qualified individuals for the position of Sheriff's Records & Identification Clerk II. This position serves as the lead to maintain criminal records and provide authorized agencies with information from the Sheriff's files. This is a specialized clerical class, incumbents will search, retrieve and provide confidential criminal record information to other law enforcement agencies, courts, and authorized personnel.
Sheriff's Records and Identification Clerk II's will be assigned shift work (days, evenings, and nights), holidays and weekends.
- Search, retrieve, and provide confidential criminal record information to law enforcement agencies, courts, and authorized personnel.
- Maintain and update criminal records in the Sheriff's files.
- Conduct shift work (days, evenings, nights) including holidays and weekends.
- One (1) year of experience as a Sheriff's Records & Identification Clerk I.
- OR two (2) years of experience in a clerical capacity in a law enforcement agency that required use of the SUN/CLETS/NCIC information systems and/or fingerprint comparison work.
Qualified applicants will be placed on a three (3) month employment list based on scores received during the evaluation of information contained in their employment application and supplemental questionnaire.
