Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management Lead

ENSCO, Inc. invites qualified professionals to join our systems engineering team as a Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management Lead, supporting U.S. Space Force satellite communications.

• Supports the Program Manager in implementing risk management strategies aligned with program objectives
• Develops a systematic approach to identify, assess, and respond to threats and opportunities
• Informs strategic and tactical decision‑making by providing thorough risk assessment across the organization
• Provides expert advice to the Government Program Manager and senior Space Force leadership on risks related to finance, operations, regulations, security, or the environment
• Communicates risks and strategies to stakeholders, including international allies and partners
• Drafts presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputs
• Recommends actionable mitigation actions to the Program Manager
• Collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)
• Collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Management/Leadership, or related field
• 12+ years of applicable professional experience
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

• Experience with ACAT I–III program management
• Evaluation/advisory role on at least one source selection
• Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA
• Certifications:
  
  DAWIA/APDP Level III, PMP, or PgMP
• Experience with MILSATCOM systems (AEHF, EPS, WGS, Tactical or COMSATCOM)
• Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
