Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management Lead
ENSCO, Inc. invites qualified professionals to join our systems engineering team as a Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management Lead, supporting U.S. Space Force satellite communications.
Responsibilities- Supports the Program Manager in implementing risk management strategies aligned with program objectives
- Develops a systematic approach to identify, assess, and respond to threats and opportunities
- Informs strategic and tactical decision‑making by providing thorough risk assessment across the organization
- Provides expert advice to the Government Program Manager and senior Space Force leadership on risks related to finance, operations, regulations, security, or the environment
- Communicates risks and strategies to stakeholders, including international allies and partners
- Drafts presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputs
- Recommends actionable mitigation actions to the Program Manager
- Collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.)
- Collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Management/Leadership, or related field
- 12+ years of applicable professional experience
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with ACAT I–III program management
- Evaluation/advisory role on at least one source selection
- Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA
- Certifications:
DAWIA/APDP Level III, PMP, or PgMP - Experience with MILSATCOM systems (AEHF, EPS, WGS, Tactical or COMSATCOM)
- Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients

El Segundo, CA (On‑site) – Salary Range: $127,000 – $159,000 USD –
