Manager, Contracts – Advanced Fighter Systems – Phantom Strike® radar product area within the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
This role requires a flexible Contracts Lead to manage the execution of a key active contract with an international Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) customer and to support new DCS strategic commercial pursuits for this next generation solution.
What You Will Do- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers on contract actions.
- Comply with internal policies/procedures and the regulatory environment, including export licensing.
- Serve as a business partner and provide sound contractual advice to the program leadership team.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Experience with international DCS contracting.
- Experience with the FAR, the DFARS, and/or International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Experience in administering contracts (e.g., proposal preparation, contract negotiation, change management).
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with complex customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships based on respect and trust.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential.
