Finance Associate; Reporting & Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and growth-minded Finance Associate to join our Finance team and strengthen day-to-day finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on finance tasks and reporting/analysis, comfortable with fast‑paced environments and who is excited to learn a growing business. This position will be trained across multiple finance functions and will serve as key backup coverage for finance processes as the organization scales.

• Support accounts payable (AP), vendor set-up, invoice processing, and payment tracking
• Support accounts receivable (AR), invoicing, and collections follow‑up as needed
• Assist with reconciliations (bank, credit card, vendor statements, etc.)
• Maintain accurate financial files, documentation, and audit‑ready records
• Assist with month‑end close preparation (reports, schedules, documentation)

• Compile and maintain recurring internal reports and dashboards
• Track budget vs. actuals and flag variances for review
• Collaborate with HR to support time reporting, payroll reporting, and internal finance metrics
• Help streamline systems and build process documentation (SOPs)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of finance experience
• Sharp analytical mind, strong communicator, and operationally hands‑on
• Experience in human services, nonprofit, or healthcare finance a bonus

The pay range for this role is: 28 - 30 USD per hour (El Segundo, CA)
