Senior Tax Analyst – Income Tax (ASC 740)
Compensation: Up to $150,000 base salary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst with deep expertise in income tax, ASC 740 provisions, and private equity environments. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex organizational structures and can provide high-quality tax analysis and reporting for a dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including quarterly and annual reporting.
- Support the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns and related filings.
- Analyze and document uncertain tax positions (UTPs) and deferred tax assets/liabilities.
- Work closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders on tax accounting matters.
- Assist with tax planning, forecasting, and cash tax analysis.
- Conduct technical tax research on complex transactions and emerging tax issues.
- Support acquisition‑related tax work, including purchase accounting and integration activities.
- Maintain compliance with evolving tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the tax function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant corporate tax experience.
- Strong ASC 740 experience—preparing and reviewing tax provisions in complex environments.
- Private equity experience is mandatory:
Either in a PE-backed company, or at a national accounting firm serving PE clients. - In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax laws.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
