Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Close:
  Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Review balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist with quarterly and year-end close activities
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  Prepare and analyze budget vs. actuals, trends, and variance explanations
• Support management reporting for operations and leadership
• Assist with forecasting and financial modeling in partnership with FP&A
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making
• Process Improvement & Controls:
  Assist in improving accounting workflows, documentation, and controls
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Assist with system enhancements and process automation initiatives
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner with operations, payroll, and HR on financial matters
• Work closely with the Accounting Manager on AP, expense management, and reconciliations
• Support onboarding of new clinics or acquisitions from a finance perspective

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7 years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of month-end close, GL accounting, and reconciliations
• Experience in multi-location, services-based, or healthcare environments
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
• Experience Working With ERP Systems (Sage Intacct Preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site services experience
• Experience working in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A support
• Experience supporting audits or financial reviews
• Prior experience working alongside Controllers or Finance Directors
