Controller, Finance & Banking, CFO

We are exclusively representing our client, a stable, profitable, family-owned aerospace company, in hiring a Controller. The goal is to groom this Controller into the next CFO in future.

• Oversee preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Develop, document, and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies
• Lead cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, overhead allocation, and work-in-process (WIP) accounting
• Monitor inventory valuation, obsolescence, and excess inventory reserves
• Partner with operations to improve manufacturing efficiency, cost control, and profitability
• Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Oversee ERP and financial system integrity, enhancements, and implementations
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy

• Manufacturing experience is required
• Combination of public accounting and industry experience
• CPA required (active or inactive)
• Net Suite experience is strongly preferred
